Privacy notice
Last updated: August 2026
Overview
Accountemist LLC (“Accountemist”, “we”, “us”) operates this website to share information about our services and let prospective clients schedule conversations with our team. This notice explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Information you submit. If you book a meeting through our scheduler or contact us by email, we receive the details you provide (such as name, email, firm, and the topic you want to discuss).
- Newsletter subscription. If you subscribe to our updates, we store your email address together with when and where on the site you subscribed, and nothing else. We use double opt-in: no updates are sent until you confirm via the link we email you, and unconfirmed addresses are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns: pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and how visitors arrived at the site.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Google Analytics sets cookies that allow it to recognize repeat visits in aggregate. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this site.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and schedule meetings.
- To send the updates you subscribed to — new offerings, case studies, website updates, and resources. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing stops all further updates.
- To improve the website experience and our content.
- To meet legal, security, and operational obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share limited information with the vendors that operate this site and our tooling (currently Calendly for scheduling, Google Analytics for usage statistics, Supabase for database hosting, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for bot protection on the subscription form, and our hosting provider) so they can provide their services to us. Each vendor has its own privacy practices.
Your choices
- You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with the official Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Most browsers allow you to clear or block cookies in their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how scheduling tools work.
- To request a copy of information you've submitted, or to ask us to delete it, email theaccountemist@accountemist.ai.
