Responsible AI at Accountemist
Last updated: June 2026
Accountemist applies AI the same way we advise clients to: process first, humans in charge, and measurable controls around everything the technology touches. This page explains how we use AI in our work and what that means for your firm’s information.
Where we use AI
We use AI in three ways: (1) Agent Vera, our AI business analyst, conducts structured first-round process discovery interviews; (2) AI assists our analysts in classifying, mapping, and summarizing process information; and (3) AI accelerates drafting of working documents. In every case, output is reviewed by a qualified human before it informs a finding, recommendation, or deliverable.
Human oversight
No diagnostic verdict, recommendation, or client deliverable is issued on AI output alone. Findings are validated with your process operators, and a credentialed practitioner (CPA / Lean Six Sigma) signs off on every deliverable. When you interact with Agent Vera, it is always disclosed that you are speaking with an AI system.
Your data
- Client information is used solely to deliver the engagement it was collected for, under the confidentiality terms of our engagement documents.
- We do not use client data to train models made available to other customers or the public.
- Agent Vera runs on SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified infrastructure with US data residency.
- We honor deletion requests for engagement data, subject to professional record-retention obligations.
Transparency and accountability
We disclose where AI was used in producing work product when asked, we are candid about what these systems do well and where they fall short, and Accountemist remains fully accountable for the quality of our work regardless of the tools used to produce it.
